Parked just outside the farm at the base of Cywarch. The route goes straight ahead
Making our way up the faint track. This was quite enjoyable and reminded us of Grindsbrook Clough in the Peaks District
Taking a look back
The slope ahead took us up on to Gwaun y Llwyni. We went up the side of the fence and felt the burn
I hoped that the cloud would hold off
Unfortunately we were not so lucky. This certainly gave us the opportunity to polish our navigation skills
So we cheat and use a gps
Lee didn't realize this was a memorial cairn and wouldn't have been sitting on it if he had known. I'm sure!
Looking over the summit cliff. Not much to see
Lee and Geordie getting ready to head back
The summit trig of Aran Fawddwy. The rain had started and I was forced to stow my camera for the rest of the day.
