At Oakenclough I followed this road but I had missed the gate which is just to the right off the picture and behind the trees. Fool
This photo is taken from my accidental detour. Shutlingsloe is the obvious hill.
What's it doing right over there? I'm walking in the wrong direction!
I followed this path off of High Moor and onto Quiet Lane
When I got to Macclesfield Forest I followed the well marked signs for Shutlingsloe

A nice time of the day to be up somewhere high. The view was great and a welcome change from Bleaklow
