Welcome
Foot bridge in Edale

Rod likes to lead the way so he can get in the photos.

Here he is again leading the way up Grindsbrook Clough

and here is Lee eating sweets. He never offered me one.

Falls at Grindsbrook

The final stretch is just slightly steeper

Looking down from the top. Lose Hill way off in the distance

Rod using what looks like a shoe to get a view

Heading north on Kinder Scout we followed this wide grough

It soon became much narrower than this so we decided to climb out and see where we were

A lot of leaping and zig zagging had to be done here to avoid some nasty bog. This also slowed us down considerably

Back down in one of the wide channels we were able to pick up the pace

Look at little Rod. Thats my jacket and I reminded him when he took a tumble in the peat

I now know we are not far from Kinder Downfall

Kinder Downfall. Where the water falls but then blows back over

Looking down at the falls

Our route continued along the Pennine Way by following the edge

Kinder Reservoir in the distance

Kinder Low in poor visibility

Rod likes to look away from the camera and into the distance as if to survey his land.

I choose to look windswept and tired

Descending Jacob's Ladder

continuing down to Edale
