Not a lot of photos today as climbing the North Ridge requires the use of both hands for most of it. Mark took a day off to rest his newfound hiking legs and alan gave himself a heart murmur doing the adam & eve leap.

alan considering his next move. the fun thing about tryfan is there is nearly always another option

it's very difficult to show in a photo how steep at times the north ridge can be

on the canon. because it's concave it actually makes it not so easy to stand on

smiling now but the next move was very exposed

can you see it? yes it is a tight rope at 3000 feet. I spoke to a photographer who was hoping to shoot the action. if completed it would be the uk's highest recorded tight rope walk. we waited around for 30 minutes but had to eventually leave without seeing an attempt.
